Welcome to Tangmere Medical Centre
Tangmere Medical Centre is a small, friendly General Practice providing general medical services to the local area.
We aim to provide a high standard of medical care and a caring, friendly and personal service to our patients. Because we are a small practice our doctors, nurses and reception team get to know many of our regular patients well.
We moved to our current spacious purpose built premises with its own car park for patients and staff in September 2009.
To get the help you need please follow this link to give us as much initial information as possible. You can do this any time between 8am and 6pm so there is no need to call at 8am or any other specific time.
Drowning Prevention Week 13th-20th June 2026
Drowning Prevention Week 2026 (13th-20th June 2026) is a national campaign led by Royal Life Saving Society UK to educate children and young adults in water safety and lifesaving skills. Free downloadable education resources are available for schools, leisure centres and clubs to help promote water safety.
• The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) has also relaunched their Float to Live campaign for 2026, encouraging anyone who finds themselves struggling in water to float on their back until they can control their breathing and call for help.
• Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT) has produced a free fact sheet “Watch Out In Water” which gives essential advice for parents on keeping children safe from drowning.
